TRULLO GR

The project involves the renovation and expansion of a traditional stone structure in Fasano, Brindisi, creating two independent residences for owners and guests. Located in the hills of Fasano, the property is surrounded by 8,000 m² of olive groves. A pathway bordered by dry stone walls and two monumental oaks leads to a semicircular courtyard, providing access to the residence. Lotus Clubhouse

Lotus Clubhouse, designed by MIA Design Studio, is conceived as a built landscape rather than a singular architectural object. Positioned along a lakeshore and embedded within existing vegetation, the 2,000-square-meter clubhouse is organized as a dispersed system of low volumes that follow the site’s natural slopes. The project advances a model of tropical architecture grounded in passive environmental control, biodiversity integration, and minimal visual impact. Hiroyuki Oki MIA Design Studio   Architecture as topography Rather than forming a dominant mass, the clubhouse is fragmented into smaller pavilions arranged beneath the forest canopy. These volumes are connected by curved pathways and reflective water surfa... More

Aalay, New Delh

Through a minimalistic approach, this residence caters to the diverse needs of its multi-generational occupants.  In an increasingly urbanising world where each square foot of land is precious, design must optimise spaces to be robust and flexible. Contemporary architecture, especially the residential typology, is focused on achieving this goal and simultaneously furthering the close-knit bonds and familial intimacy that were crafted in sprawling ancestral homes. Located in the bustling locality of Moti Nagar, New Delhi, this 2677 sq. ft. residence is manifested as a tranquil oasis that caters to the individual and collective aspirations of its multi-generational residents.  Jeetin Sharma Jeetin Sharma Jeetin Sharma... Butterfly House

Set in the tranquil mountains of Bahía Ballena, Osa, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, the Frowein Residence, known as the Butterfly House, is a distinctive cruciform design that harmonizes architecture and its natural surroundings. Each wing of the cross-shaped layout is carefully oriented to frame unique views: the Pacific Ocean, protected mountain landscapes, rural pastures, and the property’s lush greenery. These orientations create a dynamic living experience, where the environment becomes an integral part of the home. Inside Out House

On a South West facing lot with little vegetation and a dry and barren environment, the house seeks a balance between privacy and a relationship with the exterior space. Persistent and easy-maintenance materials are used from the start, understanding the environment and the user's requirements. Julia Kilma Julia Kilma Julia Kilma Julia Kilma Julia Kilma Julia Kilma The design of this 120 sq. metre house was based on an isosceles cross, on which the main spaces, the open plan kitchen, the dining room, the two bedrooms, the bathroom and the storage room are articulated. The entrance is made from the side of the open-plan kitchen-dining area, which is located on one side of the cross. The two large openings of th... More

Monastery House

When looking for somewhere to build their holiday home the decision was easy for our clients. Their heritage was strongly linked to the remote and rugged lands of the Mani Peninsula in Greece. It was the location on which they had their hearts set for a holiday retreat for their extended, multigenerational family. The plot of land they purchased was set high on a mountainside offering spectacular views, which can only really be compared to travelling on an aeroplane, peering down on the village and the sea below. Panagiotis Voumvakis The brief:Our task was to create a space for the family to come together whilst also making room for them each to have individual space within the complex. Due to the remote and rather wild location of th... More
