Kuroki is a refined workplace designed by Studio Allan Marshall, shaped by Japanese design principles and a focus on restraint, materiality and craft. The name comes from the Japanese word for black wood, setting the tone for an interior that feels grounded, tactile and quietly confident. Set on the top floor above Sydney’s CBD, the space is filled with natural light. A restrained palette of warm timber, raw concrete and deep black detailing creates contrast without visual noise, bringing richness and warmth to the existing architectural shell.
