Veil Tower
Site and BambooThe Veil Tower is a translucent black temporary pavilion in the dense bamboo grove of the ANNSO Hotel in Xianning, Hubei. Known as the “Land of Moso Bamboo,” southern Hubei is characterized by vast bamboo forests interwoven with hills and lakes. Within this native grove, bamboo culms rise vertically from undulating terrain, forming countless axes that connect earth and sky. One can see through the grove, yet never fully penetrate it. Dense canopies filter sunlight into fragmented patches, and their endless repetition produces a subtle illusion of being trapped by nature.

The hidden echo
Located in the historic Kasbah-Mechouar district of Marrakech, Hidden Echo is a conceptual cultural project that interprets Moroccan architectural traditions through a contemporary environmental approach.
Developed for the Riad Garden 51 site near Agdal Gardens and Bab Agnaou, the proposal combines passive climatic systems, rammed earth construction, water management strategies, and local craftsmanship within a spatial framework inspired by kasbahs, riads, and Moroccan gardens.

Angin Cloud
In June 2024, architecture studio vn-a was commissioned by the artist collective Art Labor (Thảo Nguyên Phan, Trương Công Tùng, and Arlette Quỳnh-Anh Trần) to design the architecture, construction, and technical details of their artwork Angin Cloud in the Padang Atrium of the National Gallery Singapore. Angin Cloud is a large-scale, multi-level installation curated by Kathleen Ditzig, on view at the Padang Atrium of the National Gallery Singapore until 30 November 2025.
