The Andromeda
The Andromeda, an interior renovation by PT ARCH Studio, reimagines roof attic into a “cockpit” where every family member plays a role in a shared voyage toward a distant galaxy. The space is entirely sealed, with no direct sunlight, which required design strategies to carefully control climate, lighting, and immersive atmosphere.

The challenge of a low-sloped roof became a driver for spatial organization. The computer workstations were arranged within areas of sufficient headroom, while the lower edges near the terrarium were transformed into a “comfort zone” for reclining and immersive rest. City of London Insurance Firm Offices
Align Design and Architecture has completed a high-spec 11,000 sq ft scheme for a leading global insurance company, high up in a glass-and-steel tower in the heart of the City of London. The scheme includes evocative cues inspired by the company’s Bermuda HQ location, as well as incorporating many wisdoms from the 3,000-year-old practice of Feng Shui. The latter finds form in the site plan and the placing of key activities within that, as well as through intriguing curved wall and ‘dragon’s tail’ corridor shapes.
