MBTA Ashmont Station
Serving over 20,000 patrons daily, the Ashmont Station is the southern terminus to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's Red Line and the intermodal interchange with the Mattapan High Speed trolley and several major urban bus routes. C7A's redesign of the station created a large open train room with clear sightlines throughout for improved safety and wayfinding. The site was filled in and regraded to accommodate fare lobbies, bus berths, and the trolley platform all on street level, with the Red Line platforms below. A new plaza connects to Peabody Square and is used for a farmer's market on Fridays. Central Bus Station Munich
The ZOB Munich is developing at a central hub of metropolitan and long-distance trains, in immediate vicinity to the main station. Reshaping the northern fringe of the city towards the tracks it represents, for people coming from the city, a prelude to this new development area. In addition to the requisite traffic facilities providing terminals for 29 long-distance coach services, spaces for commerce, catering and office are being developed.
The coach station´s building volume unites those purposes in an object-like form, its shell having the appearance of a chassis, and becomes the head of the new urban area at the edge of the track field.

Stoke Bus Station
Austin-Smith: Lord was one of six architectural practices chosen from over 43 international entrants to participate in a limited invitation design competition for the new £15m Stoke bus station. Other shortlisted practices included Wilkinson Eyre, John McAslan + Partners, Grimshaw, BDP and Zaha Hadid.
Following the formal submission the team were delighted to see that the practice had topped both the Council’s own public vote and The Architects’ Journal’s peer vote when the schemes were anonymously placed on websites for a vote on the preferred solution.

Lilas’ bus stop
A white folded shape emerges from the ground at the entrance of the subway station «Porte des Lilas». This monolithic shelter takes place on the forecourt of the cinema giving a new background scene. Its dynamic shape is a strong signal for travelers. Exceptional by its great dimension, its sharpness and folding, it covers the space required for two buses.
The shelter is a pure construction. Its expression is linked to the elements of structure that compose it and which are necessary to its stability. The canopy holds its strength of withe the continuity of materials. This folding coming out from the ground is both wall and coverage. Pilars stroll freely like pedestrians in group.
