A bird's-eye view of EPIC LAND
Walk through the pedestrian deck to the entrance of the building.
A grand, immersive gateway that instantly transports visitors into a vibrant, gaming-inspired world. The entrance also creates an eye-catching facade towards the city and attracts people who pass by the building.
Plants and the sound of dripping water accentuates the mysterious atmosphere in the entrance area. The signage tells guests not only a direction but also an attraction recommendation.

EPIC LAND

“EPIC LAND", a thesis design project by Ryotaro Okada, was awarded the Best Thesis Design Award by UCLA Architecture and Urban Design in 2024.  It reimagines the concept of an urban theme park by blending immersive entertainment with architectural innovation. Race 981 at 9.81Park

9.81 Park is an eco-friendly Gravity Racing theme park featuring self-developed engineless racing carts that utilize gravitational force (g=9.81 m/s2) to race down sloping tracks. The design of the racing tracks and carts are optimized for Gravity Racing and make up the components of a system that integrates information and communication technologies (ICT) and gamification strategies. CONTRABAND

CONTRABAND is a project developed within the "Riabitare le Alpi" Atelier. The team was assigned the number 4, hence the title TEAM4. It consists of a network of mountain routes that go back to the routes of smugglers moving between Italy and France. The information on smuggling in Valle Stura comes mainly from the direct testimonies of those who lived those experiences on their own skin. With an active beachfront and a lush tropical backdrop, Sentosa has been a hot spot for outdoor activities since its redevelopment started in the early 1970s. Resorts World Sentosa’s aquatic-themed West Zone encompasses the latest attractions on the island and the final phase of the Resorts World Sentosa integrated resort which, spanning 49 hectares, boasts a range of hotels, entertainment and recreation developments including Universal Studios Singapore, a gaming facility, MICE spaces, and a plethora of retail and F&B outlets.
