Local community centre
Located in the European Riverfront in Novosibirsk, the community centre is intended for residents of four urban villas standing in close quarters. It is a pilot project Brusnika is running to verify the need for a district centre in the 32-house estate. Two similar projects have proved viable in the Moscow region and Tyumen.

The centre of 140,5 metres square sits on the ground floor of one of the urban villas. The architects planned it to create extra facilities for residents and promote good neighbourly relations. The project is located in Courcelles-lès-Lens, a town of 7,500 inhabitants in the Hauts-de-France mining basin. Located in the center of the town, the urban fabric is essentially composed of traditonnal townhouses and semi-detached one storey houses creating an analogous built environment.

The purpose of the competition was the rehabilitation of a 1,200sqm deserted shopping mall and its parking lot. The back of the land gives access to the community hall.
