dwp were commissioned to provide full interior design services for this 94 keys Heritage Hotel located within the Dubai Deira Waterfront Development. The design concept for this hotel was contemporary with influences from Emirati heritage. The warm atmosphere is showcased in the materials, elegant lines and shapes can be seen throughout the space and key artistic statements are found within the calligraphy pieces. dwp aimed to create a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere for a young, cultured and vibrant tourist community. Accent lighting, calligraphy and subtle detailing frame the design in all areas of the hotel and effectively highlight the connection to the souks and old Dubai. More

dwp were invited and selected to provide the concept design services for Hilton Hotels & Resorts Regional Headquarters located in Level 4, Dubai Internet City. The 2,156sqm space was required to feature a president office, internal offices, conference rooms, huddle rooms and a number of hot desk seats and workstations, plus cafe and reception areas. dwp’s primary aim of the design was to reflect Hilton’s brand and vision whilst designing spaces that suit the working lifestyle of today’s Hilton Team. A space of approximately 4,800m2. dwp’s design for this particular workplace was tailored to create vision and transparency with design. Professional functional spaces that promote collaboration and teamwork whilst also demonstrating the banks forward thinking and innovative attitude were created through innovative design and unique space planning. Open and closed meeting spaces, collaboration spaces, plus nomadic and community workspaces were all successfully built into the design, establishing a truly quality work environment. More

Joy is a 30 feet tall installation in Dubai Creek Harbour, UAE. The project is an initiative by Art EMAAR. The installation is envisioned as an ode to celebrating everything in life that is beautiful, joy-giving and unadulterated. Depicted as a bouquet of balloons, it reflects the ever-changing environment as the passer-by catches a glimpse of themselves in it. The installation is in close vicinity to the new upcoming Dubai Creek Tower, set to be the tallest tower in the world.   Inspired by a child who derives joy from simple pleasures, this shimmering beacon can transport the viewer from the mundane to a realm of pure bliss and calm. Ministry of Health of UAE decided to expand Al Qassimi Hospital, in addition to 200 beds for maternity, gynecology and pediatrics as self-contained hospital for all kinds of services and facilities. It was also decided to extend the Emergency department of the existing hospital to respond to the additional needs for better emergency services. The development of the terraced tower allowed us to create a form that would break the monotony of the residential towers and compact monotone Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi and at the same time to have apartments with generous terraces overlooking the sea. The trend of stepped terraces also allows you to undo the sense of vertigo that you have on towers of this height and the apartments with a head for excellent visibility, unique to the city of Abu Dhabi.
