Vitryak

The restoration of the windmill, along with the recreation of the milling process from a century ago, has now taken on a practical aspect. Through this project, we could showcase the grandeur of the ancient architects' ideas and the thoughtful use of wind power in turning grain into flour. The restoration of the windmill's cap, along with its wings, mechanism, and tailpole, is a combination of multiple processes. This involved everything from studying archival documents, modeling and drawing, searching for craftsmen, selecting authentic materials, and studying mechanical technologies, to the actual restoration and commissioning. Centower

The multifunctional residential complex CENTOWER organically blended into the city life of the central part of the Dnipro. Restrained and laconic forms and competent proportions created a unique image of an urban object. AIMM This building is an excellent example of a mixed-use complex. There is an office block with a height of 4 stories, built-in retail premises, and a restaurant on the ground floor of this block. The size and proportions of the office block look this way because they preserve the high-rise rhythm of Yavornitzky Street and its ensemble. AIMM Further, a little into the depths of the block, there are residential sections with apartments. AIMM The complex has many unique solutions, such as a spacious lobby,... More

Emily Resort Event Hall

This event hall is in a premium hotel complex near the lake in the middle of the forest. Covering an area of 2,000 square meters, 28 tons of bricks strung on metal strings without support create a unique wavy wall, which we used as a screen. Expolight Thirty-eight laser video projectors synchronously broadcast content sewn into one image with a length of 60 meters and a height of 7 meters. Complicating the work is that this is not a projection on a flat screen. Here we worked with a brick "screen" - a mesh wall, where the brick is laid by amplitude waves. Expolight Especially for this project, we have developed dozens of thematic and diverse content: seasonal, holiday, art, and individual events. The front and rear lighting of t... More

Istetyka restaurant concept combines minimalist with Ukrainian tradition

Decisively minimalist, this modern Kyiv-based eatery by Yakusha Design Studio features an interior of natural and recycled materials enhanced with artisanal objects. The name ‘Istetyka’ combines two Ukrainian words, being to eat and aesthetics. The owners sought to change attitudes towards ready-to-eat food with an interior concept that turns the ordinary into an experience. Yevhenii Avramenko Visitors are welcomed by a laconic entrance of wood, clay walls, and unpressed concrete - all materials original to the building. A small picture depicting bread is a representation of the aesthetic approach to food as an art. Yevhenii Avramenko Functionally, the eatery is divided into three zones. The main area includes a spac... More
