École du Boisé-des-Prés
More than just a school, École du Boisé-des-Prés is an immersive learning environment designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and connection. As the largest of Quebec’s six Lab École projects, closely tied to Laval University’s School of Architecture, this groundbreaking elementary school is centered around the positive impact that intentional architectural design can have on schooling, children’s well-being, and the surrounding communities. Designed by Lapointe Magne et Associés and L’OEUF Architectes, the structure seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings, sloping gently with the land while embracing a vision of openness and collaboration.

A secondary comprehensive school in Moscow region
Located in Moscow's suburban Vidnoye town, the First Quarter housing estate accommodates a new school. It is a joint project of Brusnika architecture studio, Russian-based Meganom practice, Mont landscape design office, and Umnaya Shkola (Smart School), the centre for educational systems design.

Following the quarter masterplan, the school building continues the line of the estate. Linked with the houses by a pedestrian walkway leading to the central square inside the quarter and abutting the school entrance on the other side, the walkway will become a venue for celebrations and school assemblies and a recreational space to relax, talk to friends or take a short stroll between the classes.

Breakthrough Montessori School, Phase 1
This urban Montessori school serving children PK3-3rd grade has a new home in a repurposed warehouse through a two-phase improvement program design by StudioMB. Utilizing Montessori School Design principles defined by our firm and featured by National Center for Montessori in the Public Sector, Breakthrough Montessori is a testament to the ability to bring high-performance Montessori education to a public school system.
