Our UHNI client purchased a grand 600 square metre maisonette in Cadogan Square, Knighstbrige, which is one of the most desirable luxury residential addresses in London. It was a Grade II listed building that required significant renovation works.  The area of Cadogan Garden is known for its exclusivity and noble red-brick buildings. The square was built around the 1870s to 1880s, mostly on the grounds of the well known Prince's Club. Some 10 kms away from Shimla, the project Hill House is banked on one of the peripheral roads of a compounded residential area, AIRA Homes. The place holds decades of memories for the family, now visited by them only as a summer retreat. In 2018, the mother and the daughter unanimously took up the challenge to renovate, with the intent of modifying the interiors to serve their current lifestyle. This house has 3,400 square feet of air conditioned space, including: 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 3 car garage, awesome porches, and a great location in Houston, Texas. This is an all steel framed contemporary "Victorian-esque" style residence (all steel equals no rot or termite problems in the future), designed to resemble the Louisiana homes in which the owner grew up living in.  Love the color of the exterior. This project is really two parts: a main house and a guest apartment/work shop, which is constructed in the city of Bellaire, Texas. The main house is a 5,000 square foot residence, and the guest apartment/work shop is comprised of an 1,100 square foot apartment above an 1,100 square foot work shop. This house is designed in a contemporary "Victorian" style, in which most of the excess decoration is stripped away. More

Our clients found the original Edwardian layout of their new home in Barnes, South West London with it’s dark interiors and cellular, disconnected spaces hard to reconcile with their desire for light filled, free flowing spaces with a bold design and connection to the garden.For phase one, we tapered the interior walls away from the entrance to frame and expand views towards and through the garden as you move into the house, towards the greenery. An internal glazed and plant filled courtyard fosters a blurring of boundaries between the inside and outside at Mrs Custard's House in Brixton, London. Black brick wraps ribbon-like from the master bedroom through the kitchen and dining room and settles to form a second sunken courtyard. We created a generous and light-filled sequence of spaces which work both for our clients and for Mrs Custard, their cat. In fact, Mrs Custard is the proud owner of a cat flap which takes her through a cupboard, up some steps, through the wall and onto the bench outside. She couldn’t be happier. More

Raw concrete, brick, timber, metal and light formed the underlying material pallet from our clients previous lives in a Manhattan loft. Through a series of structural alterations this Victorian property in Peckham, South London was extended at ground floor and opened out to form an elegant and light filled space enhanced by exposing and expressing the construction materials that are usually hidden or covered. A family home full of nooks and crannies for clients with an eclectic collection and a love of display. Nooks and crannies permeate and define the extension and refurbishment of this terraced house. Through a series of structural alterations we formed a series of elegant, open plan and light filled spaces conceived as a series of nooks from the scale of a room down to the home for a favourite bowl. A large ash framed glazed door and windows frame views of the garden through the house and from the entrance.
