Crystal Bridges’ Main Lobby has been transformed for a clearer, more welcoming arrival. Improved guest flow, visible visitor service kiosks, a centrally located museum model, and a skylit tiered seating area open the space.

The lush plant wall in the Lower Lobby is the museum’s first installation of permanent indoor greenery.

The reimagined South Lobby welcomes guests arriving from the Art Trail and Downtown Bentonville, framed by landscape views.

Quartz + Honey is a new café within the expansion, a refined yet approachable destination set beyond a curved wood portal along one of the building’s primary circulation paths through the new galleries.

At the heart of the café, a sculptural, faceted bar of back-lit cristallo quartzite gives Quartz + Honey its name. Seating throughout the café and the adjacent corridor supports daily service and special events.

Interior Design for Crystal Bridges Museum

Callaghan Horiuchi's interior design and guest experience for Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art centers on the visitor, how they move, pause and reflect, easing the museum’s formality so it feels more human in scale and natural in character. Nestled within a 134-acre forested campus of gardens and walking trails, Crystal Bridges draws visitors into the Ozark landscape.
