A recently constructed building in the dynamic NoLo neighborhood houses a small apartment where the original compressed and fragmented plan did not allow for efficient use of space.

We decided to completely redesign the internal distribution, creating a unique fluid and bright environment. The apartment enjoys a corner view that allows natural light to enter during most of the day. The spaces are developed from a large living area. Two full-height custom-made doors in natural oak, hide on one side a service compartment and on the other the entrance to the bedroom. The bathroom is located inside the sleeping area, separated by a sliding door in iron and ribbed glass.

Our clients sought to enhance efficiency and introduce warmth into their spacious two-bedroom apartment on West 57th Street. The challenge was to create a seamless layout that maximized open views of the Manhattan skyline while ensuring a timeless and inviting atmosphere, often absent in high-rise apartments.
