Casa Raíz
In a small Castilian village, we designed a home for a couple of university professors who, after years living abroad and immersed in the intensity of the big city, chose to return. To trade the noise of cars for the sound of birds. To embrace a slower pace of life. To return to what matters, and put down roots close to their people and their land. The house is organized around the garden, conceived as an intimate and productive space that structures everyday life. A large window does more than frame the landscape — it dissolves the boundary between inside and outside, turning the garden into another room: quiet, ever-changing with the seasons and the light of the Castilian countryside.

Sudor Sauna
The project aims to augment the embodied experience of the saunas and pools within by providing subtle transitions that gradually create a separation between the everyday lives of visitors and the spaces within. Austrian home showcases contemporary wood detailing
In the mountains of Blons, Austria, this small house four a family of four references traditional building typologies of the Walseral-Valley. The design comes from Innauer Matt Architekten who are known for their work in Alpine regions.

In response to the steeply sloping site, the building has small foundations, thereby limiting the use of concrete. The minimal footprint leads to a design that organizes the house over three storeys.

Private/sleeping spaces are located on the lower floor and under the roof. The living space where the family meets is located on the middle floor. An enclosed balcony zone is placed in front of the volume and expands the living space to the outside.
