Surrounded by houses built in the 1940’s with sloping roofs covered by concrete tiles, the GN house stands out with its bright color and modernist simple shape. The house is slightly lifted from the street level and defined by a few basic materials and colors: concrete in white, steel and aluminum in black, and wood in its natural color.  The scheme of the project is based on the merge of three boxes, which are distinguished from one another by size or coating material. Minerva Galleries make up the commercial ground floor of a multi-family building built in the 70s in the expansion district of Tarragona. Like most commercial galleries implanted between mid and late last century, they are covered and opened only to pedestrians. Being, therefore, precursor elements at the birth of the shopping centers, whose arrival has meant that most commercial galleries have closed the doors or have been reconfigured. In this particular pavilion, we propose certain dialectics that articulate the project, such as the one established between personal expression versus functionality or between known materials versus new materials. In the projects we do, we are aware of the zeitgeist that makes them possible. PUNKRAFT is a craft beer bar just around the corner of a historic pedestrian street in Podol, the Kyiv downtown. This basement spot, packed with craft beer fans these days, used to host a cocktail bar.Our task was to change the schematic layout of the premises, keeping its kitchen and toilet facilities location, to equip cold room for beer kegs storage and completely redesign the interior including the entrance and guest zones.
