a2i Office Renovation, ICT Tower, Dhaka

Aspire to Innovate (a2i) runs the Bangladesh government's digital service programme from the 13th floor of ICT Tower in Agargaon, Dhaka. By 2021 the 6,500 sft floor had been added to piece by piece and no longer read as one office. Studio Archifiction was appointed to renovate it in use and to give the programme a visual identity that could travel to its other offices. The work completed in 2022. Identity was treated as construction, not decoration. At the entrance a wall of the programme's key words in raised lettering sets the tone; a slatted timber panel carries the logo; a black iron display frame with glass shelves holds awards and publications; and a pair of relief panels in timber frames faces a wall-mounted screen. Overview UP42, an Airbus-backed geospatial data platform, needed a workspace that showcases its mission of making satellite and Earth observation data more accessible. Sentiform responded by creating an office branding and wayfinding system that draws on visual motifs found in satellite imagery—unifying both functional elements and aesthetic details under a single, geospatially driven concept.
