Designing a yoga Studio project with a minimal look was started in 2015 and finished in 2016. Vanitar LLC. One of the most obvious features of this yoga studio, which helps it design to look more minimalistic and relaxing (as it should be), is its flooring. For this project, the designer decided to use the cork look parquet from Tilo. The Austrian wood with its neutral color makes a great harmony with brighter colors that used in the rooms like the vase or the ropes hanged from the roof. Vanitar LLC. This project is about a Yoga Shala proposal submitted in an International Architecture Competition Call. The site is part of a mountain Yoga Retreat Complex located in a breathtaking forest region of central Portugal. The new Yoga Shala building is inspired from the Yoga philosophy, being a spiritual practice rather than a physical exercise. The new development apart from the Shala with an atrium space, consists of the Teahouse cave volume. Both buildings are framed by the biomorphic xeriscaping garden islands, the curvilinear walking concrete stone paths and the cultivation activities levels. Yoga Room is a Belgian based yoga practice company, with studios in Belgium and France.  In Lyon, Yoga Room opened in 2019 a brand new 600 square meters studio in the Part Dieu district.  To understand the genesis of the project, the information of the location is important as the new studio takes place between two hisotrical brutalist building from the 60, build by Jean Zumbrunnen.  In collaboration with Opla architecture, Ré Architecture invested this architectural heritage and remodeled this large concrete/brutalist place and turned it into a cosy zen space.  The design of the place is caracterized by its simplicity, with subtle lighting, hints of plywood and pristine drywalls, the concrete has been revealed and... The project consists of a new yoga studio located in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, that was developed in two distinctive phases.   The first consisted of developing a concept without a site yet chosen. As requested by the clients, the only guidelines were an estimated floor area and the fact that it had to be on a rooftop. The concept design was then formulated with these requests in mind and with a capacity to be easily adapted once the site was chosen.
