Ca'n Gallineta
Set on a narrow plot with a gentle slope, the house sits at the highest point of the site. Its elongated form mirrors the geometry of the terrain, allowing the architecture to follow the land with minimal intervention. This position opens the house toward the south, bringing light and warmth deep into its spaces.

The plan is composed of a series of rectangular volumes, slightly shifted to create intervals. These spaces — patios, porches, voids — break the continuity of the form, introducing rhythm and variation. They invite air and light to move through, and offer places of pause and transition. Mediterranean Seaside Villa
This project was to be a house for a family with greatly different ideas about what constitutes a house. One parent dreaming of a strikingly modern aesthetic, the other of a traditional house with a sloping roof, and with respect for the rules of Feng Shui. ZEST architecture had to find a way to interpret both these views and create a house that would feel like a home for the entire family.
