Our studio was founded as a continuation of James Burkes university degree. Having graduated in Contemporary Art in 2003, James wasn’t ready to stop the project he had spent 3 years researching. At the core of his concept was the desire to lessen arts dependency on the gallery space and make it open and accessible to the masses. Leaving uni, James immediately founded the studio to carry on the work and soon teamed up with long time friend Paul Arad. Together they moved into a small studio in Harrow and set to work.
