Architects Jean-François and Guy met during their studies at the Saint-Luc Liège School of Architecture, where they quickly developed a friendship that would prove unfailing over the years. After graduating, completing internships and working together for more than 2 years, they took an important step in their respective careers and together founded the crahayjamaigne architectural firm in 2000.
After more than 20 years in the field of architecture, they were keen to develop a new project idea to complement their original area of expertise. The publishing house came into being in 2021, following an obvious reflection on the desire to enrich architecture with bespoke design for an even more intimate and personalized service. A designer joined the team to assist them.
In 2023, the logo and name “ADDENDDA” took shape, bringing Jean-François and Guy one step closer to their dream of taking on a new challenge.
An “addendum” is a set of additional notes to complete a book. This image seemed a natural fit with the intention of creating custom-made objects to accompany architecture. The 4th “D” symbolizes Design, the additional element, the little extra, that will enhance your living spaces.
In 2024, Joseph and Izi will be taking their first steps towards realizing their project.
