Bernhard Aebi and Pascal Vincent have been jointly managing the architecture firm Aebi & Vincent in Berne and Geneva since 1996.
Her understanding of the profession corresponds to that of the classical architect, who plans and realizes down to the smallest detail. The varied work ranges from urban planning, architecture and interior design to the product design of project-related objects. The projects are almost exclusively acquired through competitions. Bernhard Aebi and Pascal Vincent see this as the possibility of dealing with a wide range of topics and their relevance in the sense of continuous further education.
In their involvement in juries of architectural and art competitions they take on more responsibility. Their commitment is a commitment to the city and the people living in it.
At the beginning of each project is the question of the context between man and the city, the place.
Bernhard Aebi and Pascal Vincent do not design their projects, they develop them. This process-oriented approach begins with the analysis of the place and the task and ends with the transfer of the realized project to the client. In this way, the most diverse insights flow into the projects and thus increase their quality. The drive is not the planning itself, but the building of a place, a building. The interdisciplinary planning is central, it is the basis.
The realization process is of great importance for the sustainable quality of a project in terms of development.
