Amunátegui Valdés (2011) produces buildings, publications and exhibitions with an eye to make architecture's ongoing history dialogue with contemporary culture. The office is based in Santiago de Chile and Los Angeles.
Cristóbal Amunátegui (1978) received his professional degree from PUC School of Architecture in Santiago, and was awarded a Master of Science by Columbia University GSAPP, New York. He is a doctoral candidate at Princeton University, and a lecturer at UCLA.
Alejandro Valdés (1977) received his professional degree from UFT School of Architecture in Santiago. Prior to founding Amunátegui Valdés he worked at Mansilla + Tuñón Arquitectos.
