My design philosophy is one of continual exploration. Everything I do is motivated by curiosity. Design allows me to fulfill my curiosity. The aim of my work is to instill that same curiosity into others by creating works that defy preconceived notions about everyday objects. The ability to make someone say, "Wow!" is one element a designer really influences. I believe we are moving into an era where design will become more and more of a social medium, fueled by the rise of social commerce, wireless connectivity, and soon to be 3-D printers. As more companies adopt design thinking into their business models, so too will be the increase and availability of the design process to the general public. This is an exciting time, but it means that a designer must stand above the competition. My skill, craft, and lifetime of acquired knowledge help me to push my work beyond the norm.
