Anhelina L. Starkova
Anhelina L. Starkova is an architect and engineer, an expert in the state of architecture for field application in large-scale designs. She received a Master in Architecture and Theory of Architecture. She was an invited lecturer at The University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons FHGR, Kharkiv School of Architecture KHSA, and educational platform Auditoria by Meganom bureau where she taught her own elective course on the contemporary formal theory of architecture ‘Substantive Sensuousness’. Her teaching and research interests span new formal methods in architectural design, spatial perception, and analysis through the contemporary theory of architecture. She is an effective collaborator with world-renowned architects and public authorities. As a practicing architect she has worked with London-based company Theatre Projects, The Bolshoi Theatre, Funkhaus Berlin and Roshen Corporation. Together with Swiss architect Valerio Olgiati she is an author and editor of the Non- Referential Architecture translation. She was a finalist of the Chief Curator selection for the 7th edition of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale 2025. Her architectural projects and articles have been extensively published and exhibited amongst others at the MOMus, MAO, Igloo magazine, Swedish Paletten Journal, and BDA Bund Deutscher Architekten in Berlin, Germany.
