Applelec

When Ian Drinkwater took over his father's metal fabrication business in Bradford in 1998, he recognised the skilled workforce and machinery was adaptable to the production of high quality sign systems. Establishing Applelec as a sign trade supplier with production director Paul Stothers, a family friend Ian's father had mentored, the company strived to manufacture exceptional products and bespoke sign solutions that would truly set them apart. Embracing the LED revolution led to improvements in the energy efficiency of the company's illuminated signage and the development of the innovative lighting unit, LED Light Sheet. Applelec's award winning bespoke LED light panel is now utilised globally across the signage, display, retail, hospitality and interior design sectors. With Carl Eastwood and Sam Armstrong completing the directorial team, Applelec have manufactured signage, display and lighting for the world's leading brands and small local businesses alike. Being a confidential trade supplier, in most cases, only our satisfied customers know their exceptional job was down to Applelec.
