The Architecture Centre is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that champions better buildings and places for everyone. Through our diverse and cross-disciplinary programmes we inform and inspire people about the possibilities of good design, and encourage everyone to get involved.
Architecture is a fundamental part of our cultural heritage and the 'art form' with the greatest impact on everyone’s daily life. We work to foster a greater understanding and enjoyment of architecture and demonstrate the benefits of a better and more sustainable built environment. Our work includes:
Exhibitions, talks, visits and other events
Learning and outreach projects with young people and communities
Design advocacy and support
The Centre is based on Bristol's Harbourside. Our gallery is open to the public 5 days a week and entry is free (we are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
