Atelier BORONSKI is developing a strong and fluid design vocabulary across a diverse range of building types, that generates elegant, durable and dramatic buildings. Significant research and analysis is brought to bear on every project, often in collaboration with specialists from related fields. Evocative materials, intelligent engineering and environmentally sensitive strategies are all employed to bring our designs to life. The results we are striving for generate a built environment that is elegant, engaging and uplifting.
Our role is to introduce ideas and strategies to best express your vision and circumstances. From schematic and developed designs to building consents, tendering and negotiation of the construction contract, and site surveillance during construction, we are fully involved – and our involvement continues well after project completion. Regardless of scale, budget or program, we listen, we research, and we tailor our designs to meet each new challenge.
atelier BORONSKI is a bilingual design office based in Kyoto and directed by a New Zealand born architect educated in both NZ and Japan. Peter Boronski has received design awards in New Zealand, Japan and Taiwan. His works have been published in eight different languages and in over twelve different countries. With 15 years of professional experience and projects in five different countries atelier BORONSKI is well established, diverse and has accumulated significant depth.
