Salvador Tarradas Fossoul (Barcelona, 1983) is an Architect by the School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSAB) at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and co-founder of the Atheleia Arquitectura studio based in Catalonia.
During his last year of college, he studied at the Atelier of Peter Zumthor (2009 Pritzker Prize Laureate) in the “Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio”, Switzerland. In 2007 he joined the studio of “RCR Arquitectes” (2017 Pritzker Prize Laureates) where he developed his career during 9 years by collaborating in the design of several projects such as Musée Soulages in Rodez in France, the Provincial Court of Barcelona in Catalonia or the Media Library of Gent in Belgium.
As for teaching experience, he participated in the inception of the “RCR LABA International Summer Workshop” which he coordinated and tutored from 2012 to 2015. He also collaborated as an assistant in the “Summer Studio” of the Western Australia University in 2015 and 2016.
In 2016 and 2017, he collaborated with the company Bellapart, leader in design of steel and glass structures, where he broadened his knowledge on construction and construction management, collaborating in projects of internationally renowned architects such as Norman Foster or Rafael de la Hoz.
In 2018, he collaborates with Nikken Sikkei Studio in Barcelona for the remodeling project of the Football Club Barcelona (FCB) Camp Nou Stadium.
