In 2009, the AVAA studio was founded, focusing on architecture and interior design with particular attention to the quality of living and always respecting the landscape. I call my studio a laboratory because architecture is art. The methodological approach to each project is based on continuous research and cannot disregard a thorough knowledge of the history, physical and morphological characteristics of the project site as well as the meticulous study of the typical materials of the reference territory. This information is indispensable in order to be able to talk about environmental sustainability to which, of course, the use of available technologies must be combined. I prefer the use of natural materials that undergo transformations over time due to the action of atmospheric agents and daily use; I also prefer custom design and craftsmanship because they allow me to create work that I would call tailor-made and unique.
