Barbora Vokac Taylor Architect Inc. (BVTA) is a Toronto-based architecture and interiors practice working across residential and institutional projects. Our work includes new buildings, renovations and the adaptation of places that already have a story.
We are drawn to thoughtful simplicity: spaces that feel easy to live in, yet have been carefully considered. A good project begins with understanding the people it is for and what is already there. From that starting point, we work with light, materials, proportion and the relationship to the outdoors to make places that are warm, useful and quietly memorable.
We also believe the way a project is made matters. We work closely with clients, consultants and builders to bring design ideas through the realities of budget, construction and long-term use. The goal is architecture that improves daily life and feels at home in its setting.
