Beluga & Toechter stands for custom design for individual needs with a sense of luxury and price. Influenced by their oriental origin, light and shadow and smooth transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces play a major role. They experiment with traditional elements and reinterpret them. In interior design, they can be inspired, among others, by ornaments, old fabrics and carpets. Curiosity, drive and enjoyment of architecture are the core of their work. Based on the analysis of the wishes, needs and structures worked out in dialogue with the clients the final project is jointly developed from concept to design. Tailored solutions for individual problems arise from our unprejudiced approach and delight to derive unconventional solutions. The office is focused on implementing architecture and interior design projects in housing, such as single-family homes, villas, penthouses, housing complexes together with our long-standing business partners. Another business area is consulting on optimizing floor plans. Heide Schicht and Astghik Der Sakarian see their task to translate the needs and desires of their clients best into the third dimension.
