Cent 15 architecture

Cent 15 architecture

Founded in Paris in 2011 by Maxime Scheer following the renovation of the Théâtre du Trianon, Cent 15 Architecture brings architectural concerns back to their essential functions: a well-considered programme gives rise to a project’s inherent aesthetic.

Convinced that each material possesses its own intrinsic quality depending on how it is implemented and presented, the practice favours approaches grounded in reuse, the enhancement of existing structures, and the responsible use of resources, thereby embedding its work within the principles of the circular economy.

As lifestyles and economic systems evolve, Cent 15 Architecture explores the design of hybrid spaces — capable of accommodating multiple uses and adapting over time — as a response to contemporary transformations in work and living environments. Each project is approached by Cent 15 as a living ecosystem, where the analysis of climate, geography, and patterns of use reveals an architectural response that is both appropriate and rooted in its context. In this way, every project develops a distinct identity, conceived as an experience.
