21st-century organizations are increasingly understanding the need to focus their processes on collaboration and on generating spaces that enable fluid communication between people. The interior design of spaces in these organizations thus promotes diverse styles of collaborative work, where the exchange of new ideas, knowledge, and experiences increases, creativity is unleashed, and people understand how their work has a systemic impact on the rest of the organization, society, and the natural world in which they live. The idea is to create spaces that facilitate the occurrence, expansion, and preservation of sensory, relational, and operational dynamics that make possible a collaborative culture and one that inspires well-being.

At CITIC, alongside the architectural co-design pillar of our systemic innovation proposal for organizational spaces, we propose to simultaneously develop four other pillars that make it possible: the conservation and care of both the relational and operational aspects of the spaces; the inspiration of a cultural transformation process that serves as a generative matrix of co-design dynamics with the people who inhabit the spaces and are fundamental throughout the process; the inclusion of diversity in the management processes within these spaces; and the implementation of appropriate and timely technologies to support the expansion of human well-being that we seek to generate, expand, and preserve.
