Founded in 1969 by Late CP Kukreja, CP Kukreja Architects is a multidisciplinary architecture and urban design practice headquartered in New Delhi, with offices in New York, Tokyo, Vietnam and Dubai. Currently helmed by Managing Principal Dikshu Kukreja, the firm aims to shape meaningful spaces that derive from their local physical, socio-cultural and economic contexts to birth uniquely-designed, sustainable interventions.
At CPKA, a multidisciplinary collaborative of 200+ built environment professionals work in tandem to deliver holistic built environments. Over the last five decades, CPKA has worked in 30+ countries globally with more than 1000 projects across scales and typologies such as housing, healthcare, commercial, retail, institutional, master planning and urban infrastructure. Some of the firm’s notable projects include: Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (1969), Ambadeep Towers, New Delhi (1993), Pathways World School, Haryana (2003), Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida (2012), Vallabh Bhawan (State Secretariat), Madhya Pradesh (2018), the upcoming India International Convention Exhibition Centre, New Delhi with the world’s 3rd largest Convention Centre of 10,000 capacity, and the ongoing East Delhi Hub, India’s first and largest transit-oriented design development, among many others.
CPKA and its projects have been recognised and felicitated with multiple national and international awards and distinctions: People’s Choice World Expo Award by US-based Exhibitor Magazine (2022), selected amongst the ‘100 Architects of the Year’ by Union Internationale des Architectes, Paris (2021), National HUDCO Design Award for ‘New and Innovative Town Design Solutions’ (2020), ‘Most Outstanding Urban Design Firm - India’ by Global Business Insight Awards (2019); ET NOW Real Estate Award for ‘Luxury Project of the Year- Residential (2019)’, and BUILD 2018 Architecture Awards for Best ‘Indian Institutional Project’, amongst many others.
