After various professional experiences in the project industry in Italy, Delfina Cortese landed in Dubai in 2010, where she immediately started working for the international architecture studio Woods Bagot, designing interiors for headquarters of important financial and legal firms in the luxurious DIFC finance center. In 2013, she handled the conversion of a 1350 sqm residential villa into a SPA, Heart & Soul, for the luxury boutique developer Albarari. In 2014, she then joined Emaar, a leading luxury construction company and owner of the Burj Khalifa. Among many projects, she renovated the luxury resort Address Montgomerie and Zeta Restaurant and Lounge overlooking the world's tallest skyscraper. After 20 years of experience, 14 of which were spent in Dubai, in 2019 she decided to found her boutique studio, based in Downtown Dubai not limited to the Middle East Region, targeting high-end, tailored projects.In just 5 years, Delfina Design has curated projects for luxury developers, becoming a reference for high-end interior design. She is currently working on several projects, including a Penthouse and Villa on Palm Jumeirah, and the construction of a boutique hotel in the desert, for which Delfina Design is also overseeing the construction, which will open in June.
