Elements, an architect’s studio llc has more than 30 years experience in designing homes for the individual desirous of an environment that is expressive of their personalities and stimulates their lifestyle. Because single-family homes are so personally and individually reflective of each owner’s preferences and lifestyles, Elements is able to draw on its extensive experience in non-residential work to incorporate, as appropriate, features common to work place, recreational, entertainment, and commercial facilities.
Elements, an architect’s studio llc believes the past teaches us lessons of value for the future. Combining this belief with a first hand knowledge of today’s state-of-the-art building methods, our experience and expertise also encompasses additions, adaptive reuse, restoration, and historic preservation, as well as new construction.
Ours is a design philosophy that recognizes and integrates the symbiotic relationship between the man-made environment and the natural world – a philosophy incorporated in custom-designed sustainable environments for decades. This intimate understanding of the nexus between the man-made and natural is reflected in a variety of successful innovations, including the effective use of active and passive solar applications.
Elements, an architects studio llc also strongly believes that design solutions, however creative, are worth little if they cannot be realized within your program, budget, or timetable. To this end, Elements embraces a collaborative communications process and a minimum standard of professional services that encourages and facilitates the successful implementation of your commission. This approach includes timely and regularly schedule meetings with you, appropriate governmental entities, and outside consultants, along with a “studio” work environment that allows for open and continuous dialog between design professionals. Our standard services include Design, Contract Documents, Contract Negotiation for construction, and Contract Administration during construction. Architectural services are supported with engineering services in the areas of structure, plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning.
We realize some commissions may require more extensive services for their successful implementation: soils engineering, surveying, landscape design, exist facilities evaluation, and cost analysis to name a few. Elements makes these available if needed.
