Emma Adams Architect is an architectural practice near Cambridge creating carefully considered designs that respond to the demands of modern living within historic or traditional environments.
The practice focuses on the individual needs of the client, creating tailor made spaces with a close attention to build quality and budgetary constraints.
We are inspired by the possibilities of both traditional and modern materials, often using a mixed palette in our designs. We are conscious of the need to design responsibly and efficiently – considering the impact of our choices on the immediate built environment or natural landscape and also on the global environment. We design spaces to harness natural light and to blur the boundaries between inside and outside. We apply our design skills to projects from small rooms to whole houses or working environments, seeking low energy solutions in all cases.
The practice is a Chartered Practice registered with the RIBA and is appropriately insured. We offer a comprehensive architectural service: from initial briefing, through detailed technical design to completion on site.
