Energy Floors is a dynamic, impact driven company based in Rotterdam.
We believe consciousness about energy and the impact we all have on it are the main conditions to create a sustainable world.
Our goal is to raise awareness on energy production and energy consumption by making it interactive and fun and relating it to human scale.
Our journey started in 2008, when we developed the ‘Sustainable Dance Floor’, the first floor in the world to convert the dance moves of the public to usable electricity.
It was launched in Club WATT in Rotterdam and has travelled the globe for projects by Google, Adidas, Heineken, Renault, WWF and many others. The Sustainable Dance Floor has been a commercial success and has generated worldwide press coverage.
We are now ready for the next step. We’re taking our technology to the streets.

A scalable and sustainable energy floor for permanent installation in the built environment, in sidewalks, school playgrounds and public spaces.
