FABBRICANOVE is the architectural firm founded in 2009 in Florence by Enzo Fontana, Bartolozzi and Giovanni Lorenzo Matteoli with the aim of investigating languages and new substances of contemporary design. Their works are characterized by the search for a genetically urban approach, able to develop methodologies and design operations valid at different scales and at different stages of development.
The study pursues these goals using as a major research tool the design competition, through which investigates pay special attention to issues related to the city and public space.

Fabbricanove has been teaching in the university and is currently involved in several public and private commissions. In 2009 he won first prize in the competition for the redevelopment of the Fort San Pietro di Livorno. In the same year he was one of the winners of "The House of the Third Millennium" for which he designed and prototyped the "Luna 9" form, exposed on several occasions in exhibitions and events.
