Faber Spa

Originally founded in 1955 as a company specialising in working with plastic and synthetic resin materials, in 1958 Faber began manufacturing kitchen extractor hoods with its first plexiglass model then went on to create what is now known as the “Fabriano hood district”. The company's sheer passion and determination have seen it grow in first in Europe then into a global entity thanks to a series of acquisitions of different manufacturing sites. Faber now extends to 3 continents with plants in 6 countries including Italy, Sweden, France, Turkey, India and Argentina. If we add to that a sales department in the USA and a branch office in Russia, Faber is one of the three biggest manufacturers of kitchen extractor hoods in the world. Under its own brand name, the Group is firmly established in the most important markets as well as being the leader in emerging markets such as in India and Turkey. In Italy, the Group leads the sector where one out of every two hoods sold is made by Faber. At an international level, Faber is present under both its own name and under the name of local leading brand names such as Roblin in France, Mepamsa in Spain and Spar in Argentina. In 2005, continuous internationalisation and the willingness to accept new challenges led Faber to become part of Franke, the Swiss multinational company leader in Kitchen Systems. Today Faber plays a fundamental role as the centre of excellence for hood production and is responsible for the Hoods Product Line within the group.
