Here at Fabulous Furnishings we are inspired by the ways in which furniture affects our lives. We all have memories and stories that are tied to our favourite pieces of furniture, a sofa where families come together to watch a movie, a book read in one’s favourite chair, and dining chairs that have seated generations for family meals. If only furniture could talk!
We manufacture furniture the old fashioned way, by hand. From start to finish, all of our furniture is proudly hand crafted in North Vancouver and 100% Bench-made by skilled artisan fabricators. No generic assembly line and no cutting corners. We specialize in making exquisite furniture with a tailored appeal at fair prices.
We treat each piece of furniture like an art form, whether it is giving fresh life to older furniture or constructing a new piece that will contain new memories.
We specialize in much more than a typical custom built furniture shop offering soft window coverings, Hunter Douglas blinds, a made to order furniture line of soft furnishings, upholstery for residential, commercial and even the film industry.
Where it all starts
A solid frame is everything and construction is just as important. We only use 100% solid hardwood for all of our frames. Interlocking joints, glue and dowel, supported bracing, leaving no room for anything but our high quality standards. No knots, no particle-board, no mdf, no inferior materials, ever. Our in house carpentry team hand selects to best boards and mills the stock by hand ready for the next project.
Our strength is our experience in helping clients select the proper materials and fabric to be used in the production of both newly created, re-upholstered pieces and window coverings. The team’s ability to fuse the traditional methods of craftsmanship with Celina’s fresh new look on furniture design guaranties clients will receive a product that is aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable.
When working with you, we listen carefully to your tastes and needs. We look at the proportions and lines of the piece and finish it in a way that will best suit the furniture, last for generations and most importantly is comfortable for you.
