Fazendinhando was founded at the end of 2017 with the mission of transforming a rubbish dump into a park, since the community has no common green area, starting the construction of the Parque Fazendinha. The park, which was still under construction, already provided residents with activities as well as a living area.

With the arrival of the pandemic, work and activities had to stop, respecting social isolation, and the movement began to support vulnerable families. It was also in the midst of so many challenges imposed by the pandemic that new projects emerged, such as Fazendeiras and Fazendolar. The first one prepares women from Jardim Colombo to work in the kitchen and in construction. The latter carries out renovations in precarious housing located on the outskirts of the city, in environments where there is no ventilation, the walls are very damp and moldy, with a large number of people living in the same space. There are problems with the electrical and plumbing systems, and there are no floor coverings, all of which are detrimental to the health and well-being of the residents. The actions take place collectively, with the support of civil society, private initiatives and students from different areas who contribute effectively in joint efforts and/or donations of building materials.

In this way, the Fazendinhando movement is strengthened and now has three fundamental projects: Parque Fazendinha, Fazendeiras and Fazendolar.
