Born in 1988 in Sorengo, Federico Rella grew up in Vezio, in Alto Malcantone, Switzerland. Following studies at CSIA and subsequently at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio (in the Atelier Keller and Blumer). He worked for two years in the architectural studio Guidotti Architetti in Monte Carasso. He currently works as independent architect and designer in Lugano. His projects are identified by the employment of local materials and partnerships with artisans of Ticino.
