Hrishikesh More Architects is an architectural collaborative based in Mumbai, India, operating in the fields of Architecture, Landscape and research. The company was established in 2013. We believe ‘Architecture with Sustainability’ is about creating a lasting positive impact on our surroundings and our planet. We aim to create a lasting social, economic and environmental effect with everything that we take upon us and we always consider our projects in a local, regional and global context, creating societal value beyond brief and client. Based on research, Hrishikesh More desires to anchor its work on the dynamic interaction of experience, detail, material, form, and light rather than conforming to a formulaic style. The work of the studio addresses new ways of understanding the often contradictory interrelations between the city, architecture, landscape, and the world of interiors.
Sustainable Design - The practice believes that there is a need to promote rapid, widespread acceptance of sustainable solutions. The challenge is to generate fresh ideas that carry out self-sufficient systems at scale. The potentials of new building techniques, re-appropriating materials in an effective and durable way, and intelligent energy concepts should be uncovered and integrated in an innovative way in architecture. With energy reduction and sustainability as a starting point the practice attempts to create innovative and exciting architecture.
