INTERURBAN is an architecture studio founded in 2012 by Łukasz Piankowski and Weronika Juszczyk. We believe that creativity and innovation emerge at the intersection of knowledge and the possibilities offered by the contemporary world. Rather than rejecting what is familiar, we seek to push boundaries by integrating the expected with the unexpected. Our approach to architecture is rooted in a deep understanding of each brief and in embracing the challenges it presents.
Through the experience of architecture, we develop projects that redefine the relationship between people and place. Our buildings aim to enhance and enable connections that provoke, question, and enrich both their users and the public realm.

Each project is inherently embedded in a distinct cultural, social, and historical context, and is designed for diverse users. For this reason, our work focuses on seeking and implementing solutions that are closely tailored to local conditions and the people who inhabit these spaces. We believe that mutual trust in the client–architect relationship allows for the creation of meaningful places and contributes directly to improving the quality of the built environment.
