Jafar Lotfolahi

Jafar Lotfolahi is an architect and designer based in Tehran. He began his architectural journey and practicing architecture since 2004 . The office shifted its focus and became driven by a forward-looking vision deeply rooted in Iran's cultural heritage and environmental sustainability. 

The office has won or been nominated for national and international awards. These including the Edwuik Architecture Excellence Awards 2022, the Architecture Master Prize in 2017, the Asian Architecture Award in 2018, 2017, and 2015, the 3rd National Biennial of Iranian Architecture in 2017, the Emerging Professionals award by the American Institute of Architects in 2016, the A Design Award in 2014 and Memar Award in 2013.
