Murphy, Sr., who began his career in the offices of Daniel H. Burnham, the firm rose to global prominence in the 20th century under the leadership of Helmut Jahn, FAIA. Founded more than 60 years ago, our studio has reshaped cities and changed minds.
Today, that legacy is carried forward under the ownership of Deborah Jahn, with the firm now a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), and a collaborative studio culture led from Chicago by Evan Jahn, Assoc. AIA, WELL AP, LEED AP ND, Philip Castillo, FAIA, and Scott Seyer, AIA, LEED AP. Working alongside leading engineers, fabricators, and builders, the studio delivers architecture defined by integrity, performance, and timeless quality.
