OUR HISTORY

Established in June 1977, J&J Teixeira is the largest Portuguese industrial woodworking company supplying a turnkey service, and one of the largest in Europe.

Born of the ambition of João Teixeira, founder and president of the Board, the company has grown sustainably, with a considerable sense of opportunity to earn its own space in the industrial sector and the preferences.

The company´s culture is founded on quality and professionalism. These values come from the strong commitment of the 250 employees who operate the most advanced equipment and technological solutions. To consistently provide a high end product it’s fundamental to have the most advanced technology, so as to maintain a high degree of competitiveness. For this reason, at the beginning of the Millennium, J&J Teixeira carried out a complete refurbishment and restructuring of its production area, combining this with a strong investment in new software solutions and information management technologies. These investments represented a crucial change, allowing it to face the new challenges of the Woodworking industry.
