JoHanjun Architects is a design collective that brings to life the imaginative ideas of young architects.We focus primarily on architecture at the scale commonly encountered in everyday urban life, believing that the units shaping a city's character and culture are the buildings that embrace people’s daily routines. We emphasize the importance of small-scale architecture that naturally forms prior to development-driven urban planning.
These small architectural units are often created by private individuals and everyday users. We value communication with them throughout the building process above all else, enjoying the collaborative search for solutions that satisfy everyone involved, and pursuing the sense of accomplishment and joy that comes from shared creation.
Currently, we are working on numerous projects including single-family houses, narrow-lot houses, multi-family and collective housing, rental neighborhood facilities, small office buildings, and exhibition spaces. We take pleasure in sharing the achievements of our work with both clients and builders.
