JUNG is a premium supplier of modern building technology systems. Switches, sockets, dimmers, monitoring devices and systems for controlling functionality in both private and commercial environments are included in the portfolio of this traditional medium-sized company. Established in 1912, the mission that led to the company’s founding is still the main driver behind product development: JUNG designs and develops pioneering and timeless products and solutions. Our switches and systems are easy to use and can be tailored to individual requirements. They are produced in the company’s two facilities located in Schalksmühle and Lünen, for which, in 2011, the company received the ‘Made in Germany’ certificate from TÜV Nord. Firmly rooted in the region and a reliable employer for many decades, we are known internationally for the consistently high quality of our products. As a responsible manufacturer, we place great importance on sustainable and energy-efficient production.
JUNG is known for expertly combining sophisticated design and innovation. Our products are defined both by precise workmanship down to the smallest detail and by durability – from classic electrical installations to intelligent building technology. The company’s founder, Albrecht Jung, established the guiding principle of ‘progress as tradition’, which, more than 100 years later, is still the heart and soul of our work: JUNG continuously develops new ideas for easy-to-use applications, for optimised functionality and for energy-efficient building automation systems. Featuring a clear and reduced design language and cutting-edge technology, our intelligent and energy-efficient solutions are perfect for modern work environments, for high-end interiors and for the hospitality industries.
JUNG is a reliable and resourceful partner. For many years, we have been actively supporting our partners from the fields of architecture and design in many collaborative projects. We also apply our pioneering ideas to facilitate the planning and design process through the use of the latest technologies: building information modelling (BIM) is becoming increasingly popular all over the world. Architects and designers can use our products, free of charge, as BIM objects for Revit and Archicad. Additionally, we also offer a plug-in for selecting the right combination of covers, frames and inserts for both conventional and KNX installation and for flush-mounted or surface-mounted designs. As a central platform for complete smart home solutions, we offer the FEELSMART online configurator that allows electricians, designers and homeowners to develop and design projects together.
Each year, together with the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (German Architecture Museum), JUNG selects the 25 best buildings in Germany (DAM Award for Architecture in Germany). Furthermore, the JUNG Architectural Talks offer a platform for spirited public debate on current issues in architecture. An established event in Germany, the talks are increasingly gaining international reach, facilitating the creation of networks and offering an opportunity for professional discussions in a relaxed atmosphere: jung.de/architekturgespraeche
